Music Playlist by Mischa Smith inspired by Mark Your Wall Color Palette #05

As Brand Ambassador of Pasteur Street Brewing Company, Mischa Smith was often seen at most craft beer events chugging glasses with other industry top dogs. With the pandemic disrupting such events for the past 2 years, Mischa has kept engagement with other beer aficionados through his light-hearted YouTube channel One Sip Beer Review. Listen to the playlist he curated inspired by Mark Your Wall Color Palette #05 below!

Hey Mischa, tell us a bit about yourself!

My name is Mischa Smith. I am the Brand Ambassador / Sales Director for Pasteur Street Brewing Company. We make craft beer here in Vietnam. I’ve been living here in Saigon for almost 10 years now. During the last lockdown I also started doing daily beer reviews - you can find us on Youtube at One Sip Beer Reviews!

In your opinion, what color is your aura?

My aura! Heady stuff, Far. Red has always been my favorite color - to the extent that I believe in auras, I’d venture that mine would be like a deep red. Pulsing. Bleeding into the earth.

Thanks for collaborating with us for Mark Your Wall Color Palette #05. Could you tell us a bit about how this color palette inspired this playlist?

So this is something I gave a lot of thought to. I saw some of the other color palettes that you guys did and my playlist would’ve been hugely different if I had gotten a different palette. I wanted to make a list with songs that were meaningful to me but also to be true to the project. My palette is very dark and I wanted the songs to reflect that. Lots of red, lots of bleeding, and then the darker parts are even more foreboding. I wanted my playlist to evoke a certain mood and also to hang together as a well sequenced album would. I’ve listened to it all the way through a few times now and I think it’s great (obviously! I made it …). A lot of moody tracks that come together nicely, again in my opinion. Dark night of the soul kinda stuff. I peppered in some more upbeat stuff as well but still songs that have an innate darkness to them. Hope some people enjoy it!

Thank you Mischa!
